Please note: TNA’s monthly programs have changed to a new location and day. We will now meet at the Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Metropark on Thursdays at 7:00 pm.

The Adventure of Orchid Hunting – monthly program

Recognized as the world's top expert on the native orchids of the Oak Openings (there is no other!), Eric Durbin will lead a virtual orchid hunting expedition to the darkest reaches of the Maumee State Forest and the wildest corners of the Toledo Metroparks!

When: Thursday, January 18, 2018, 7:00 pm

Where: Ward Pavilion at Wildwood Preserve, 4830 Central Avenue, Toledo

Winter Gulls & Ducks – field trip

Depending on ice conditions on the lake and river, we could see close to 15 duck species and hope for views of some good winter gulls such as Glaucous, Iceland, and Lesser Black-Backed. Potential areas to visit include Bayshore Power, north Toledo, the Maumee River, and Erie Power. Dress warmly, pack your favorite hot beverage, and meet leader Tom Kemp at 8:30 a.m. at the public access on Bayshore Road in Oregon, just east of the power plant. We’ll be out until about 12:00 p.m.

When: Sunday, January 28, 2018, 8:30 am until about noon

Where: Bayshore Fishing Access parking lot on Bayshore Road in Oregon

So sorry I didn't see your question until now, Partida! All TNA programs and field trips are free and open to the public, so please join us!
