On Saturday, on a visit to Pickerel Creek SWA (US-6 between Fremont and Sandusky), some mud-flats were found, in the impoundments off the east dike that goes north from intersection of US-6 and CR 268.  Two stops at the part near the road yielded 9 shorebird species (all expected species).
.
A walk past the small woodlot further north had more mudflats, but only a few shorebirds.  The only other flats found were further NE at Medusa Marsh - very extensive and with more shorebirds than at Pickerel, but unfortunately closest vantage point was still too far away to see and ID much.

Good Birding,
