No Blue grosbeak this morning at Lou Campbell Tall Grass Prairie, but a nice consolation was a Kentucky warbler seen and heard in the woods north of the prairie very near Old Wilkins (east side). The Prairie warbler remains as does the chat, White-eyed vireo, and Acadian flycatcher (near Kentucky spot).

I had a chat fly over tornado alley this afternoon at about 200 feet up call as it flew. I have never seen that before. In the same area I also had a nice male Rose-breasted Grosbeak along with the usual fair for oak openings.
