Hi All,

The mudflat at Conneaut had no standing water on Saturday morning.  It looked good for Baird's or BBSP but no luck.  We did have a number of decent birds, mostly working the beach edge.  Diversity was fair but total numbers very low.  Two Black-bellied Plovers and one American Golden Plover were the highlights and a number of Semi-plovers (the most numerous shorebird).  A couple Least and Semi-sandpipers, along with a single Pectoral.   Singles of Sanderling, Dunlin, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs and  a Stilt Sandpiper that dropped in for less than a minute was about it.

We left after lunch and checked some spots on the way home.  Unfortunately Huron didn't make the list of stops so we missed the Whimbrel that was spotted there.

Good Birding!

BZ
