    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rarebird.org/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=33">Brian Zwiebel</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4319<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 22 September 2009 at 8:24am<br /><br />Hi All,&nbsp; <DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>The mudflat&nbsp;at Conneaut had&nbsp;no standing water on Saturday morning.&nbsp; It looked good for Baird's or BBSP but no luck.&nbsp; We did have a number of decent birds, mostly working the beach edge.&nbsp; Diversity was fair but total numbers very low.&nbsp; Two Black-bellied Plovers and one American Golden Plover were the highlights and a number of Semi-plovers (the most numerous shorebird).&nbsp; A couple Least and Semi-sandpipers,&nbsp;along with a&nbsp;single Pectoral.&nbsp;&nbsp; Singles of&nbsp;Sanderling,&nbsp;Dunlin, Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs and&nbsp;&nbsp;a Stilt Sandpiper that dropped in for less than a minute was about it.&nbsp; </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>We left after lunch and checked some spots on the way home.&nbsp; Unfortunately Huron didn't make the list of stops so we missed the Whimbrel that was spotted there.<BR><BR>Good Birding!<BR><BR>BZ</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>]]>
