    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.rarebird.org/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=56">jpogacnik</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 4239<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 26 July 2009 at 3:47pm<br /><br />An adult female piping plover was at Conneaut Harbor this afternoon.&nbsp; The bird was found by Robert Krajeski.&nbsp; We were able to watch the bird at close range for quite a while.&nbsp; The bird had color bands on its legs.&nbsp; I will post a photo later today.<BR><BR>The bird was still present when I left at 11:45, however thunderstorms were&nbsp;moving into the area.&nbsp; Also present was an American avocet.&nbsp; Other shorebirds seen this morning were semipalmated plover, killdeer, lesser yellowlegs, semipalmated sandpiper, least sandpiper, and sanderling.&nbsp; I have sent in the color band combinatioon and will post an update on where it is from. <DIV></DIV><DIV></DIV><DIV><img src="http://www.rarebird.org/forum/uploads/56/Piping.jpg" height="708" width="1063" border="0" /></DIV><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by jpogacnik - 26 July 2009 at 5:18pm</span>]]>
