Jeff and I discovered a Cinnamon Teal at Pickerel Creek this afternoon (5/27/18) around 3:30.  The bird was at the pump house pond (parking area B).  It quickly flushed and disappeared.  We walked out the gravel lane to the far north impoundment from the pump house where we found 7 Am. White Pelicans.  We continued east on that far dike and returned south along the old Vickery Rd.  Jeff walked west on the dike closest to the road back to parking are B (while I waited in the shade to be picked up Smile) and saw the teal back in the pumphouse pond.  It immediately flushed again but only flew around the corner at the east end of the pond to a small inlet that also held a N. Shoveler.  The bird (and the Mallards there) is extremely skittish so if you go looking for it take it slow and easy as you climb up onto the dike.
