Hi,

As in previous years, as the chicks have started to grow, the mother bird has enlarged the cup by pushing the sides out. This year however she's gone at it like a thing possessed and has basically tunneled under the surface of the nest, to the point where all but her tail disappears from view.
This has meant that the lip of the cup has started to fold over on itself and reduced the opening of the cup to more of a slit. This means some chicks are struggling to get their heads up for food.
I'm tempted to lift the lid of the box and pull back this collapsed side, what d'you think ?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
